Short Reckonings is a free Web tool that helps you track and even out group expenses. Enter a group of people and a list of expenses, indicating who paid how much for what and for whom. Short Reckonings calculates the fewest number of payments needed to reconcile the debts. An ideal solution if you have to deal with the expenses for several roommates, travel buddies or family members.

A new version was released today: Short Reckonings now supports non-even splits. Each person involved in an expense can be assigned a weight or number of shares. And as usual, the focus was put on keeping the user interface as trivial and quick as possible. Among other recent improvements, you can enter content in any language. We are pleased to have users from Russia, China, India, Greece, Norway, Spain and many other countries. Enjoy!
