We help healthcare companies tap into the power of word-of-mouth by and between consumers who use the products that they make. More specifically, HealthTalker provides companies the opportunity to engage a base of prescription users, and help enable them to have discussions (both on-line and off-line) with other consumers about their experiences of using certain products. We also help educate consumers about certain health conditions and products, and encourage them to speak to others about their experiences. We believe these conversations will lead to better physician-patient dialogue, with a more clear understanding by patients of the products that may be available, and the benefits and risks associated with those products. Participants can benefit by gaining more information about the products they use, and by having a relationship with the companies that manufacture the healthcare products they take. In addition, HealthTalker creates and enables a community among participants so that they can share best practices and tips, and make new connections with others who suffer from the same health issues.
