Who is Ruth Parasol?

Our community needs good people devoted in helping others. This includes Ruth Parasol who became an active advisory member of the “The Bonita Trust”, a philanthropic trust established in Gibraltar in 2004, and a millionaire through her efforts. She was among the “400 Richest Americans” in Forbes’ magazine. The trust focuses in providing assistance in education, community projects, health, and cultural heritage in several communities.

Ruth Parasol (born 1967) is eldest to the couple Richard Parasol, a Jewish Polish, and Guna Parasol, a Swedish. Born in San Francisco and spent most of her early years in the city of Mill Valley, California.

She attended her high school education at Marin Academy (MA) in San Rafael, California and completed in 1984. Pursued her education at the University of San Francisco in California was able to acquire a BA in Business in 1988. In 1992 she accomplished her law studies at Orange County’s Western State University College of Law (WSUCL).

Inspired by her father, Ruth Parasol ventured entrepreneurship with her father who was then successful with his business endeavor, after she left the law school. Today, she is the co-founder of the undoubtedly most popular and largest gaming community, PartyGaming Plc. The success of their business gave birth to PartyPoker.com, an online poker community that made it to the London Stock Exchange (LSE) in June 2005 and valued at ÂŁ4.64 billion.

Married to Russ DeLeon in California in 2003, Ruth Parasol continued to show her kindness to the community. Ruth Parasol along with her husband and three kids have lived in Gibraltar since January 2004 and continued spreading their kind to the community.

Through their efforts the, DeLeon Family Care Project was established whose primary objective is to provide community support for countries such as Poland, Israel, and Spain, was founded. In Poland the couple provided assistance to Museum of The History of Polish Jews, Prodean Animal Rescue Center in Spain, and the Tel Aviv University in Israel.
